Enrolment Procedure

Applications​ for enrolments beyond 2025 will not be processed. Please only complete an onli​ne enrolment for 2024 & 2025. ​

Before completing the application, please note that our school runs at full capacity, so any applica​tion​ submitted will be processed for your child/ren to be placed on our waiting list. Submission of an application does not guarantee an enrolment place. 

If applying for enrolment for more than one student, when the application form is completed there will be an option available to submit another enrolment for each additional student. A $60 non-refundable application fee is required for all applications –​ pay here​. Once you have submitted the online application, you will need to provide a number of supporting documents: 
  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate (if baptised)
  • Enrolment Questionnaire – click here​
  • Last two school reports and NAPLAN report(s) (as applicable)
  • Any medical or learning reports
  • And if noted in your application:
    • Legal Documentation
    • Medical Action Plan
    • Student Specialist Assessments​

What happens next?​

​You will receive an email verifying lodgement of your enrolment application – if you have not received this, please check your junk folder. This email will also request the supporting documents listed above, and once they are received, your child/ren will be placed on our waiting list. If and when a place becomes available, parents will be contacted to attend an enrolment interview. 

​Prep Enr​olments​

​​​Prep 2025
Prep 2025 enrolments are now open. Please complete an online application for your child and send through the supporting documents mentioned above. Applications closed​ on 23 March 2024​, and any applications submitted after this date will be placed on our waiting list.

​Enrolment Timeline

  1. A mailing list will open two years prior to your child starting Prep, and this registers your interest in Siena. Application details will be sent out to families who registered. 
  2. Applications can be submitted 18 months prior to your child starting Prep, and no later than the start of March the year prior to beginning Prep. 
  3. Interviews are held with the Principal during Term 1 & 2 of the year prior – interviews will first be offered to existing families. 
  4. If a position is offered, confirmation of enrolment documents will be issued, and need to be completed within two weeks of the enrolment interview. This is finalised by payment of a $100 acceptance​ of enrolment fee. 
  5. Orientation days for all new Prep children and an information evening for parents will both be held in Term 4 of the year prior to commencement.

Year 1 – Year 6 Enrolments

​​We experience a very high demand for enrolments in all year levels, and as previously noted, the school is currently at capacity wth waiting lists for all year levels. Your child/ren will only be placed on our waiting list once the application is complete, all documents received, and application fee has been paid. Are there positions available for my child/ren?

Our school runs at full capacity, and there are no positions available for your children to be enrolled immediately. ​

How do I join the waiting list?

Use the link above to complete an online application. Once you have completed this, you will receive an automatically generated email requesting further documents. Please send these documents through within 7 days to psipenrolments@bne.catholic.edu.au. We will process your child/ren's application and they will be placed on our waiting list.

My child is on the waiting list. What now?

Your child will remain on the waiting list for consideration should a position become available.

When will I be updated about my child's place on the waiting list?

Unfortunately, as we have a high demand for places, we will not be contacting families with updates unless a position is available. We will request school reports and to confirm you are still interested in remaining on the waiting list.

When will I know if I have a place?

There is no set date when you will 'know'. As we run at full capacity, if a position does not become available, then we will not be able to offer your child a place at Siena.

Will I receive a response when I email through my child's supporting documents?

As we receive a high volume of inquiries, we will not respond to emails that provide documentation for a child's application.

Can I book a school tour?

Because our school runs at full capacity, we do not offer tours for prospectives families of children in Year 1 – 6. Tours will be run for prospective Prep families in the year before their child is due to start.

When should I think about enrolling my child for Prep?

Please see the table above for eligibility dates for your child. Roughly 2-3 years before your child is due to start school, we will open a mailing list for you to register your interest. Within 18 months of the enrolment year, we will send families an email to inform them that enrolments are open, and you can submit an application.

Will there be a tour for my child before they start Prep at Siena?

We offer a Prep Tour in the year before your child would be due to start, usually in March before applications close. We will email families on our mailing list, and advertise this via our website and Facebook page. We encourage you to submit your application before this, however you may wish to wait until after the tour. ​
